Well at that point, you can make a recruitable ship that works as a pseudo-planet. I am imagining somewhat similar to how bought ships work in High Seas. Perhaps limit it to 1 per planet / homeworld so maps don't have to be too enlarged to give space for anticipated space stations.So kind of a SpaceLab for researchers to get out of the way of the farmers and miners? Interesting. I suppose it ought to be vulnerable to invasion as well as spaceship attacks though.
