The idea of the campaign is quite nice.
I had some problem with the map where there are teleporters. I went through 4 or 5 but could not find anything useful and then gave up on it.
Perhaps that scenario can be changed, to either reduce the number of teleports; and/or to make it a bit more obvious where to go. It was quite frustrating to fail when all enemies were already killed in the scenario, so I gave up on it after that.
Also, in the first scenario, it seems easier to just run east from the beginning. The dialogue made me think I have to stand in the middle and hold my ground, but then I lose valuable turns, so on second try I went east and quickly killed the enemy leader, so he could not even summon any units.
