So, final update that adds scenarios, theoretically, the campaign should be complete now on that front (faster pace, yeah right...).
The campaign is now theoretically at the 1.0 mark.
Here are the changes:
- Added the last 6 scenarios after the previous ones (4 battles and the epilogue), the campaign should be complete
- Removed peasants from recall list post-scenario 1 if the enemy leader was killed
- Modified scenario 2 so allied leaders will be saved with their xp before dying
- Fixed scenario 8's victory conditions (defeating all enemy leaders is meant to be impossible)
- Added orcish corpses in scenario 20 and 21
- Fixed some carryover/gold problem in scenario 38
- Fixed some spelling/grammar/language errors
I've still got some other updates/improvements to do (some items, change the allied sides, add some more banter, etc.) but the campaign should mostly be feature-complete. After doing some of these, I intend to port it to 1.18.
I would very much like some feedback on the balancing of the four scenarios, they all have their specificities that made them annoying to gauge accurately (defence map, rush to save someone, big battles in snow) beyond just being big, late-campaign battles (which already makes them annoying to handle).
Another thing is I had a potential scenario between scenarios 41 and 42 (Merlyc and the first Lintanir scenario). However, I decided to cut it as it was quite similar to the previous one (also an assault). I'd appreciate feedback/opinions on that, should it actually be interesting.
The update was also somewhat rushed (let's just say I did almost all of it this month), and I wanted to put it out today as a Christmas gift, so A) Merry Christmas!!! and B) I hopefully didn't forget something, but the likelihood's of there actually being a problem is higher than the previous updates.
