Also wanted to say how much I enjoyed this campain and the added mechanics!
Thanks, really glad you enjoyed it.
Especially the tides are such a cool feature that would be really fun as a built-in BfW feature.
Won't happen IMHO as it would mean either retro-fitting tides to exisiting mainline campaigns or having differing "standard" features in different campaigns.
Also, tidal frequency can vary from place to place (at least in real life) so a single tide sequence might not be sufficient.
Besides my implementation was very clunky: I couldn't use terrain masks because I was also using custom terrain and I couldn't get both working together so replaced the entire map every turn. It works well enough and people cleverer than me might be able to fix the problem or do it better but it's another speed bump on the way to mainline acceptance...

Unfortunately spare time to devote to my campaigns is limited and I have a second campaign that is about 60% complete (was more, but since I've had some "good ideas" so there's more to do) and has been like that for a year now and I started it longer ago than I care to think...
Anyway, I've been working for months now on a major update/rework of LSB for Wesnoth 1.18 when time permits but am still far from being done. :augh:
Currently added two new scenarios (one in late stage playtesting, the other almost fully coded) and hope to add two more but we'll see.
Also changed a couple of maps and need to add/playest new logic in those scenarios where the amended maps are used.
Added new stuff and loads of tweaks, bugfixes and dialogue changes.

Regarding your specific points:
Spoiler:
These are really good points, thanks for taking the trouble to post them.

Thanks for creating such a well-made campain :D
Thanks again! :D

Cheers!
