(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?
Version 1.18.4, Biased RNG (experimental), difficulty Great Mage (Difficult) ( = hard)
(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
8
Without a proper strategy one can mess up badly.
(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Very clear.
(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
Very clear.
(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Resist the temptation to step out of the forest for a kill. Don't do that before you're sure you can deal with all enemies there. In general, better go a bit deeper into the forest, Orcs will happily follow.
Other than the walkthrough recommends, I recruited only L2 units: 2 Druids, 4 Marksmen and 2 Captains. This worked out well. In the end, all but one were L3 – which helped a lot in the following scenario.
Actually I played this entire scenario three times, because I couldn't believe I couldn't get above these 150 Gold required to have a bit more in the next scenario. No chance. And also no need. With a recall list full of L3 units and including 2 Shydes, base starting gold of the next scenario is entirely sufficient.
(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
10
It's excellent!
(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
It's fine as it is.
(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
None beyond the occasional turn repetition because my first plan of movements didn't work out.
