That's clever, and it did the trick, thanks.In this situation, I'd suggest not altering the default AI configuration, but instead using an [object] and [effect] to set `attack_weight=0` on the Javelineer and Spearmans' melee attacks, which will disable them entirely on offense.
The case with these Javelineers was that they have healer support, therefore they are supposed to stall the resolution of the fight as much as possible.
